Personal Data Privacy Notice
GREAT ZONE HOUSEHOLD CENTRE SDN. BHD. (801049-U) (GREATZONE) respects and values the privacy of individuals with regard to personal data and strives to protect the same in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (“the Act”). As part of GREATZONE’s efforts to protect your personal data, this Personal Data Privacy Notice is formulated in accordance with the Act. For the purpose of this Personal Data Privacy Notice, “Personal Data” shall have the meaning as ascribed in the Act.
This Personal Data Privacy Notice applies to any person whose Personal Data is processed by GREATZONE including but not limited to GREATZONE’s customers, employees, suppliers and tenants.
a. This Personal Data Notice serves to inform you how your Personal Data is being processed by and/or on behalf of GREAT ZONE.
b. The Personal Data processed by GREATZONE may include your name, contact details, date of birth, email address and any other personal data required for the purposes set out in the paragraph below.
c. Your Personal Data may be collected from various sources, including but not limited to information you have provided to GREATZONE, information from third parties and information in the public domain.
Purpose of Collection of Personal Data
GREATZONE may collect, retain and use your Personal Data for among others the following purposes (“the Purposes”):
a. providing you with services under any GREATZONE's businesses;
b. processing your application under any GREATZONE's programmes;
c. providing you with ongoing information about events and programmes, GREATZONE’s products, services, special offers, new products, updates and promotions;
d. conducting research, developing and improving our events, programmes, products and services including but not limited to historical and statistical record-keeping purposes;
e. discharging GREATZONE’s contractual obligations;
f. creating directories, databases or information technology systems for GREATZONE’s internal and retail business operations;
g. resolving concerns and complaints;
h. recruitment purposes; and
i. for any other purpose that is incidental or ancillary or in furtherance to GREATZONE’s internal and daily retail business operation.
Disclosure
GREATZONE may disclose your Personal Data to among others, the following parties as stated below for the Purposes:-
a. GREATZONE’s parent company, subsidiaries, related and associated companies;
b. GREATZONE’s licensees, co-organisers of events, business alliances, agents and service providers (including those located overseas);
c. any relevant authorities or bodies;
d. auditors, professional advisories;
e. to such person pursuant to the requirements of any law, if such action is necessary to (i) comply with the requirement of any law enforcement agency, court order or legal process; or (ii) protect and defend rights or property of GREATZONE,
f. the employees from GREATZONE’s parent company, subsidiaries, related and associated companies; and
g. any other person and/or organisations which AEON may think fit.
Notwithstanding that any such persons may be outside Malaysia, your personal data is to be disclosed at the time of its collection or for any other purposes directly related to any of the above Purposes or where such disclosure is required or authorised by law or by the order of a court.
Safety of Personal Data
Efforts will be made to ensure that any Personal Data held by GREATZONE is kept up-to-date and is protected against any loss, misuse, modification, unauthorised or accidental access or disclosure, alteration or destruction.
GREATZONE may regularly review the security measures in safekeeping your Personal Data and only authorised staffs of GREATZONE who have been duly trained are allowed to handle the Personal Data.
Retention of Personal Data
Any Personal Data supplied by you will be retained by GREATZONE for a period GREATZONE deems fit and necessary for the fulfilment of the Purposes or is required to satisfy legal regulatory, accounting requirements or to protect GREATZONE's interests (“the Retention Period”).
Upon expiry of the Retention Period and/or after GREATZONE cease to process your Personal Data, GREATZONE will take all necessary action to permanently delete and destroy your Personal Data.
Right of Access to Personal Data
In accordance with the Act, you may request to access and/or modify and/or alter and/or update your Personal Data, subject to the followings:
a. GREATZONE may charge an administration fee for processing your request for access; and
b. GREATZONE may refuse to comply with your request for access or correction in accordance with the Act.
Disclaimers
a. By providing GREATZONE with your Personal Data, you hereby consent to the processing of your Personal Data in accordance with all of the foregoing (“the Consent”).
b. GREATZONE may cease to process your Personal Data within a reasonable period upon receiving your written notice pertaining to the withdrawal of the Consent.
c. GREATZONE’s website may contain links to other sites and pages. By activating a link, such as for example by clicking on the banner of an advertiser, you leave GREATZONE’s website and GREATZONE does not exercise control over any Personal Data or any other information you give to any other entity after you have left GREATZONE’s website.
d. Any questions, comments, suggestions or information other than Personal Data sent or posted to the site, or any part of the site by visitors will be deemed voluntarily provided to GREATZONE on a non-confidential and non-proprietary basis. GREATZONE reserves the right to use, reproduce, disclose, transmit, publish, broadcast and/or post elsewhere such information freely, including passing it to any associated company, in connection with the development, manufacture and marketing of products and services and to meet customer needs.
e. GREATZONE reserve the rights at any time to add, change, update or modify this Personal Data Privacy Notice, simply by informing such change, update or modification via mail, short message service, posting on the website and such other notifications as GREATZONE may be deemed fit. Any such change, update or modification will be effective immediately upon posting on the website.
f. Please note that in the event your Personal Data is not sufficiently supplied, or is not satisfactory to GREATZONE, your application or request to GREATZONE for any of the Purposes may not be accepted.
Notis Data Peribadi dan Privasi

(801049-U) (GREATZONE) menghormati dan menghargai privasi setiap individu dan berusaha untuk melindungi Data Peribadi anda menurut kepada Akta Perlindungan Data Peribadi 2010 (“Akta tersebut”). Notis Data Peribadi Dan Privasi ini adalah disediakan selaras dengan Akta tersebut sebagai sebahagian daripada usaha AEON dalam melindungi Data Peribadi anda. “Data Peribadi” yang digunapakaikan dalam Notis Data Peribadi Dan Privasi ini adalah mempunyai maksud dan erti yang sama dengan tafsiran terhadap perkataan ini dalam Akta tersebut.
Notis Data Peribadi Dan Privasi ini adalah terpakai kepada mana-mana individu yang Data Peribadi mereka diproses oleh GREATZONE termasuk pelanggan-pelanggan, pekerja-pekerja, pembekal-pembekal dan penyewa-penyewa GREATZONE.
1. Notis Data Peribadi Dan Privasi ini menjelaskan bagaimana Data Peribadi anda diproses oleh GREATZONE dan wakil atau ejen yang dibenarkan oleh GREATZONE.
2. Data Peribadi yang diproses oleh GREATZONE mungkin merangkumi nama, butir-butir dan cara menghubungi, tarikh lahir, alamat e-mel dan apa-apa Data Peribadi anda lain yang diperlukan untuk tujuan sperti mana yang dinyatakan di bawah.
3. Data Peribadi anda mungkin diperolehi oleh GREATZONE daripada pelbagai sumber termasuk tetapi tidak terhad kepada maklumat yang telah diberikan oleh anda kepada GREATZONE, maklumat daripada pihak ketiga dan/atau maklumat yang sedia ada dalam domain awam.
Tujuan Mengumpul Data Peribadi
GREATZONE mungkin mengumpul, menyimpan dan menggunapakai Data Peribadi anda untuk yang antara lainnya, bagi tujuan-tujuan berikut (“Tujuan tersebut”):-
a. menyediakan anda dengan perkhidmatan yang diwujudkan di bawah perniagaan GREATZONE;
b. memproseskan permohonan anda bagi mana-mana program GREATZONE;
c. membekalkan anda dengan maklumat terkini mengenai aktiviti-aktiviti, program, produk, perkhidmatan-perkhidmatan, tawaran khas dan sebarang kemaskini terhadap maklumat;
d. menjalankan penyelidikan dan pembangunan dalam usaha menambah baik aktiviti, program, produk dan perkhidmatan GREATZONE termasuk tetapi tidak terhad kepada tujuan untuk simpanan rekod dan statistik;
e. memenuhi obligasi-obligasi kontrak GREATZONE;
f. mewujudkan direktori, pangkalan data atau sistem teknologi maklumat untuk kegunaan dalaman GREATZONE dan operasi perniagaan GREATZONE;
g. menyelesaikan sebarang pertanyaan dan aduan;
h. pengambilan pekerja baru; dan
i. bagi tujuan lain yang berkenaan atau lanjutan daripada operasi perniagaan harian dan dalaman GREATZONE.
Pendedahan
GREATZONE mungkin mendedahkan Data Peribadi anda kepada antara yang lain pihak-pihak berikut untuk Tujuan tersebut:-
a. syarikat induk GREATZONE, anak syarikat GREATZONE dan syarikat-syarikat yang berkaitan dengan GREATZONE;
b. pemegang lessen daripada GREATZONE, penganjur bersama, rakan kongsi perniagaan, ejen-ejen dan pembekal perkhidmatan GREATZONE (termasuk yang berada di luar negara);
c. mana-mana perbadanan atau pihak berkuasa;
d. juruaudit dan penasihat-penasihat profesional;
e. mana-mana pihak menurut kepada undang-undang semasa bahawa Data Peribadi tersebut dikehendaki untuk:- i) mematuhi syarat-syarat atau keperluan daripada mana-mana agensi penguatkuasaan undang-undang, perintah mahkamah atau proses undang-undang; atau ii) melindungi dan mempertahankan hak-hak dan harta GREATZONE.
f. pekerja-pekerja daripada syarikat induk GREATZONE, anak syarikat GREATZONE dan syarikat-syarikat yang berkaitan dengan GREATZONE; dan
g. mana-mana pihak dan/atau perbadanan yang dianggap sesuai oleh GREATZONE.
Pendedahan kepada pihak-pihak yang disebutkan di atas akan dilakukan pada masa Data Peribadi anda dikumpul atau bagi mana-mana sebab lain yang berhubungan secara langsung dengan Tujuan tersebut atau pada keadaan di mana pendedahan tersebut adalah dikehendaki atau dibenarkan oleh perintah Mahkamah ataupun undang-undang Malaysia meskipun pihak-pihak tersebut berada di luar negara pada ketika itu.
Keselamatan Data Peribadi
GREATZONE akan berusaha untuk memastikan bahawa sebarang Data Peribadi dalam simpanan adalah terkini dan dilindungi daripada sebarang kehilangan, penyalahgunaan, pengubahsuaian, akses atau pendedahan secara sengajah dan tanpa kebenaran, pengubahan atau kemusnahan. Langkah-langkah pengawalan berkenaan tentang penyimpanan Data Peribadi anda mungkin akan kerap dikemaskinikan oleh GREATZONE dan hanya pekerja GREATZONE yang telah dilatih adalah dibenarkan untuk mengendalikan Data Peribadi anda.
Penyimpan Data Peribadi
Sebarang Data Peribadi yang anda kemukakan kepada GREATZONE akan disimpan untuk suatu tempoh masa yang dianggap sesuai oleh GREATZONE untuk memenuhi Tujuan tersebut atau diperlukan untuk mematuhi undang-undang atau pertahanan kepentingan GREATZONE (“Tempoh Simpanan”). GREATZONE akan mengambil segara langkah yang sewajarnya untuk memadamkan dan memusnahkan Data Peribadi anda selepas tamatnya Tempoh Simpanan ataupun selepas GREATZONE memperhentikan pemprosesan Data Peribadi anda.
Hak Akses Kepada Data Peribadi
Selaras dengan Akta tersebut, anda adalah boleh memohon untuk mengakses kepada dan/atau mengubahsuai dan/atau mengemaskini Data Peribadi anda tertakluk kepada yang berikut:-
a. membayar kepada GREATZONE yuran pentadbiran yang mungkin akan dikenakan oleh GREATZONE untuk memproseskan pemohonan anda; dan
b. permohonan anda untuk mengakses ataupun pembetulan mungkin akan ditolak oleh GREATZONE menurut kepada Akta tersebut.
Penafian
a. Setelah anda membekalkan Data Peribadi anda kepada GREATZONE, anda telah membenarkan GREATZONE untuk memproseskan Data Peribadi anda seperti yang dijelaskan sebelum ini (“Kebenaran tersebut”).
b. GREATZONE mungkin memperhentikan pemprosesan Data Peribadi anda dalam suatu masa tempoh yang munasabah selepas GREATZONE menerima notis anda secara menulis untuk menarik balik Kebenaran tersebut.
c. Laman web GREATZONE mungkin mengandungi pautan ke laman web yang lain dan GREATZONE tidak akan mempunyai sebarang kawalan ke atas Data Peribadi anda ataupun mana-mana maklumat yang telah diberikan kepada entiti yang lain selepas anda meninggalkan laman web GREATZONE melalui pautan tersebut.
d. Kebenaran pengunjung laman web GREATZONE adalah dianggap telah diberikan secara sukarela terhadap mana-mana soalan, komen, cadangan dan infomasi selain daripada Data Peribadi anda yang dihantar atau dipaparkan di laman web GREATZONE ataupun di mana-mana bahagian laman web tersebut dan yang sama adalah dianggap sebagai tidak sulit serta tidak melibatkan sebarang hak kepunyaan. GREATZONE berhak untuk menggunakan, menghasilkan semula, mendedahkan, menghantar, menerbitkan, menyiarkan dan/atau memaparkan maklumat tersebut ke mana-mana tempat secara bebas termasuk menyerahkan maklumat tersebut ke syarikat yang berkaitan untuk pembangunan, penghasilan dan pemasaran produk dan perkhidmatan serta untuk memenuhi keperluan pelanggan.
e. Sebarang penukaran, kemaskini atau pengubahan yang sedemikian akan diberitahu melalui surat, perkhidmatan mesej ringkas, paparan di laman web dan cara pemberitahuan lain yang dianggap sesuai oleh GREATZONE.
f. Sila ambil perhatian bahawa jikalau Data Peribadi anda yang diberikan kepada GREATZONE adalah tidak mencukupi ataupun tidak memuaskan, GREATZONE mungkin tidak akan menerima permohonan atau permintaan anda untuk sebarang Tujuan tersebut.
Great Zone Membership Programme
1. The ‘Great Zone’ membership programme (Programme) is proprietary to Great Zone Household Centre Sdn Bhd (Company) where acceptance of any person(s) to the Programme shall be subject to the approval of the Company and once accepted by the Company, participation by any such person (Member) in the Programme shall be subject to the terms and conditions contained herein. The Programme is only accepted at Great Zone Household Centre, Great Zone Superstore, Horeca Hub and G Pack Catering only.
2. In order to become a Member, the applicant is deemed to agree to the Terms and Conditions. The Company reserves the right to make amendments or variations to the Terms and Conditions from time to time.
3. Participation in the Great Zone membership programme is open to all citizens and non-residents aged 18 years old and above.
4. The application fee for a Physical membership card is RM 10 and the free application for E-Card (Virtual membership card). The renewal fee per year is RM 5 for both Physical and E-Cards. RM 10 will be imposed for physical card replacement.
5. The validity of the “Greatzone” membership is for a period of 12 months from the date of issue and will expire immediately thereafter. In order to avoid any usage interruption and inconvenience due to card failure, membership will be renewed automatically 2 weeks prior to the expiry date, by deduction of 1,000 points (1,000 points = RM 5) from the account. For members with less than 1,000 points, the points will be forfeited upon expiry.
6. 1 loyalty Point will be awarded for every RM 1 transaction (excluding tax). Members must spend a minimum of RM 1 and above on qualifying purchases in a single transaction.
7. Once the Card is credited the loyalty Points corresponding to the Qualifying Purchases, a transaction receipt prepared by the cashier at the checkout counter shall be issued to the Member. Such transaction receipt shall be a conclusive record of the Qualifying Purchases made and the loyalty Points accumulated will be shown in the membership account within 24 hours. Members will be able to check up to 6 months of loyalty transactions available at the ‘Great Zone’ mobile app.
8. The following items are not included in the points’ calculation:
a. Gift card/Cash vouchers purchase,
b. e-pay services, i.e., mobile reload, IDD reload, online game reload, e-wallet reload, Touch ’n Go reload, e-pay reload, utility bills payment, payment to Authorities, etc.
c. Delivery charges, repair & service charges.
9. The loyalty points awarded and credited to the Card cannot be transferred or assigned to another Card or any other card issued by or on behalf of the Company or combined or aggregated with the loyalty Points of such Card or card or otherwise dealt with except in accordance with this Agreement. The loyalty Point has no cash or monetary value.
10. The Points accumulated in Member's Card will expire after 2 years from the year points have been accumulated.
For example, Points earned in Year 1 will expire on 31 December of Year 3.
11. Member must present his/her ‘Great Zone’ E-Card or physical Membership card to the cashier before every transaction. Failure to do so, no points will be awarded/credited. For the amount spent.
12. Members who do not pay the renewal fees or made qualifying transactions and collect any loyalty points for 12 months will be removed from the Programme and all points and unused rewards or Vouchers will be deleted. Members will need to reapply for new membership should they wish to rejoin the programme.
13. Points accumulated will expire in the event that the member does not make any Qualifying Purchase and earn any points within twelve (12) months from the date the last points were awarded. In such event, the card will be cancelled and accumulated points will be forfeited at the discretion of the Company and without notice to Member.
14. E-Voucher has a validity period of 3 months with an expiry date clearly stated in the E-Voucher, beyond which they cannot be used or reissued. Additional Terms and Conditions can be found in the E-Voucher.
15. The Member may refer to the Rewards catalogue available at the ‘Great Zone’ Mobile App or the participating outlet for redemption, which shall be for the purpose of information and illustration only and shall not be construed as constituting any representation or warranty as to their availability.
16. The Company gives no representation or warranty with respect to any products and/or services featured in the Rewards catalogue. Where the Rewards are covered under any manufacturer's warranty, any disputes or claims shall be forwarded directly to the manufacturers concerned.
17. For Rewards that are to be redeemed from participating merchants or suppliers of Rewards as shall be appointed by the Company from time to time, the Member shall present his/her Card and national identity card (NRIC) or Passport for Rewards redemption.
18. Member who has redeemed his/her points for any ‘Great Zone’ rewards, i.e., merchant products or services, is not eligible for refund or cancellation from the Company.
19. The Member is responsible to examine, immediately upon receipt, the Rewards for any defects or damage, whether in its packaging or otherwise, and to verify the contents of the Rewards. Where the Reward or its packaging is found to be damaged or defective or that the contents therein are incomplete / damaged, the Reward be immediately returned the Rewards to Customer Service at the Shop.
20. Company reserves the right to reject any request for the replacement of faulty or damaged Rewards should the Member fail to return the same in the manner and within the time period set out as stated above.
21. It is the responsibility of the Member to notify the management of ‘Great Zone’ of any changes of personal particulars, or lost or damaged cards.
22. Member needs to update or correct the provided personal data via the ‘Great Zone’ mobile app from time to time.
23. The Member agrees that the Personal Data may be used by Company for the purposes below.
a. To associate the Card with the Member and to update information (if required);
b. To process the application by the Member for related services;
c. Management, operation and maintenance of Member's account, the system including audit and exercising the rights of the Company under the terms and conditions;
d. Designing new or improving existing services provided by Company, our subsidiaries, associates and affiliates;
e. Communication by Company to Member;
f. Investigation of complaints, suspected suspicious transactions and research for service improvement;
g. Prevention or detection of crime or fraud; and
h. Disclosure as required by law, rules, regulations, codes or guidelines.
24. Member is deemed to have subscribed to the marketing mailing list upon registration as a ‘Member’ of the Great Zone membership programme and the Company shall send or deliver the marketing information and relevant updates (“Newsletter(s)”) via push notification, SMS, electronic direct mail (EDM) and/or direct mail (DM).
25. The Member shall terminate his/her membership anytime by giving notice in writing to the Company. However, there will be no refund on points collected for termination of membership.
26. Any abuse or fraud with respect to The Points under the Programme or redemption of Rewards will result in the cancellation of the Member's participation in the Programme, cancellation of the Card and revocation of The Points or return of redeemed Rewards (or its reasonable compensation thereto).
27. The Company reserves the right to restrict, suspend, or change the features and benefits of the membership programme, including the terms and conditions from time to time without prior notice or assigning any reasons.
28. Company shall not be liable for any loss of accumulated Points or loss or damage suffered as a result of any defect or error in any machines or inability to retrieve any information or data from the computer system.
29. Company shall not be liable howsoever for any errors, delays, loss or damage, which may be directly or indirectly due to breakdown, failure of machinery or the processor; or industrial dispute, war, act of God, system failure and anything outside the control of the Company
30. Company shall not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by the Member due to the following reasons:
a. any failure by the Reward supplier to abide by the terms and conditions on which it has agreed to provide the Reward;
b. any statement, communication or implication arising from any revocation, suspension or restriction of the use of the Card; and
c. any failure or omission to notify the Member of any changes in the terms and conditions of this Agreement, Rewards Guide, participating companies, Qualifying Purchases and The Points awarded for Qualifying Purchases.
